General: Whilst every effort has been made to ensure these products are strong and durable, we cannot accept responsibility for any failure of the products, and it is down to the owner to ensure the products are suitable for use with their pets.

Please remember that any ribbons or fabrics on items are purely cosmetic, and do not affect the structure or performance of the items. These may be damaged by other objects (including but not limited to claws and teeth), so care must be taken. If you think your pet may scratch at its collar, it may be wise to remove the collar when not supervised. We cannot accept liability for cosmetic damage, or structural damage caused by neglect or misuse, scratching or chewing etc.

Please check regularly for wear and tear, and remember nothing lasts forever! Wet or dirty items should be hand washed in warm water and left to dry, away from direct heat.

These items are hand made, not mass produced, and therefore finished products (and colours) may vary from those shown. In particular, custom printed items may have small areas of misprint where the pattern repeats join. These are not defects and are an unavoidable consequence of the printing process. Both nickle and brass hardware may have small cosmetic defects in the finish. These are unavoidable consequences of the manufacturing process. All measurements are approximate only and individual batches of materials may vary from the average listed, in particular webbing widths may vary by +/- 3mm. It is not possible for us to alter individual listings when new batches come in, so if you require precise measurements, please contact us before you order.

Any order placed via this website does not constitute a contract until production begins. We retain the right to refuse to fulfil any order for any reason. We cannot accept liability for any cancellations or delays caused by events outside our control.

Delivery: All orders within UK are sent by Royal Mail 1st class, or a courier of our choice. If you have choosen recorded delivery or International Tracked/Signed service, your tracking number will be added to your order in your account on the website. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery in the UK once your order has been shipped. If your order is not received within 10 working days, please contact us asap to enable us to submit a lost parcel to Royal Mail (which they may contact you to confirm you have not received your order), and either your order replaced or refunded. For international deliveries outside the UK, please allow between 1-4 weeks for your order to arrive. If after 4 weeks you have still not received your order, please contact us.

It is the buyer's responsibility to be available for delivery. If a parcel is returned as "undeliverable" you will be contacted to check your postal address. If there is a mistake on your part, you will be liable for a re-delivery charge. Any parcel that is not collected from the post office holding depot and returned will be liable for a re-delivery charge. Please note that any personalised items, items made to the customer's specifications, or materials cut to length are non-returnable, and therefore if you fail to make re-delivery arrangements your order shall not be deemed as rejected, and cannot be cancelled and refunded. The buyer is responsible to be available for delivery or collection.

Cancellation: By using this website to make a purchase, you expressly waive your right to a 14 day 'cooling off' period. However, you may cancel an order at any point up to when production begins, but as items are all hand made, there is not a fixed time scale, so if you have made a mistake or wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as you can, by emailing sales@dotties.boutique . If we have not started making your item/s, we will happily amend or cancel your order. Unfortunately, once production has begun, it is not possible to cancel your order.

Returns: If you are unhappy with any purchase, please contact us to discuss it. Any return must be requested within 14 days of receipt. We will happily offer a full refund (subject to the following exceptions) on receipt of goods returned within 14 days of the return being authorised, in unused, resalable condition. Exceptions: Any personalised items, items made to the customer's specifications, or materials cut to length, cannot be returned unless faulty. Please check all measurements, colour choices, spelling and numbers when ordering. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item being returned is faulty. In such cases, once the item is received and inspected, if it is found to be faulty, shipping costs will be reimbursed. Please make sure items are returned using a tracked shipping method, and make sure to keep your receipt! Only the cost of the cheapest tracked shipping method will be refunded, so please return items in their original packaging. Licenses: Items that include any copyrighted images are not licensed. They are hand-crafted from licensed and non-licensed fabrics or ribbons. Dottie's Pet Boutique are not affiliated with or sponsored by any copyright holders.
Custom printed: By providing images, words or names for printing, you confirm you have permission to use them. Dottie's Pet Boutique accept no responsibility for material submitted by customers.

Photographs of all orders placed may be used as Dottie's Pet Boutique see fit, including but not limited to advertising or promotional content, unless the customer requests otherwise, in writing.

This does not affect your statutory rights, under the distance selling regulations and consumer contracts regulations. In case of dispute, English Law applies to all contracts.
